Fishing Gear Guide

One of the most common questions I get asked is what I recommend for fishing gear.  That is a truly loaded question as the sky is the limit when it comes to fishing tackle.  So what I have put together here is a recommendation of several ranges of gear.  This is by no means an exhaustive list, but this is gear I’ve used and I would recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy setup that will last years if properly taken care of and wont break the bank.

Light Inshore

This setup is perfect for light inshore fishing for spotted sea trout, snapper, small reds, and small snook.  With a tender touch this setup will even land 30″ snook and reds all day and be blast doing it:

Medium Inshore

If your day will consist of tossing larger white baits, Pinfish, or cut baits looking to land bigger reds and snook then this setup is what your looking for:

This is the stuff that gets tied to the end of your line to actually catch the fish.
